Doctoranytime is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Finance team in Athens. You will own full-cycle accounting and reporting under both IFRS and Greek GAAP (ΕΛΠ), partnering with FP&A and Operations as we scale across Greece and Cyprus.

What you'll do

Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close — and keep it under five working days.
Maintain the general ledger: journals, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
Run AP/AR, bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions.
Prepare and submit VAT (ΦΠΑ) returns and AADE myDATA e-books.
Support payroll reconciliation and statutory filings.
Prepare financial statements under IFRS and Greek GAAP (ΕΛΠ) and be the primary contact for external auditors.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics.
4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of Greek tax and VAT (ΦΠΑ) rules.
Hands-on experience with an ERP such as SoftOne, Entersoft or SAP.
Confident with IFRS and Greek GAAP (ΕΛΠ) reporting.
Professional English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

A Greek Α' Τάξης accounting license (ΟΕΕ).
Experience in a high-growth tech or healthcare company.
ACCA / ACA — qualified or in progress.
