Setup Guide

How to enable WhatsApp

Follow these steps to connect your WhatsApp Business number to the Humanlike AI platform.

Create a Meta Developer Account

Go to developers.facebook.com and create an app. Select "Business" as the app type and add WhatsApp as a product.

Visit developers.facebook.com and sign in with your Facebook account
Click "Create App" and choose "Business" type
Name your app and connect it to your Meta Business account
In the app dashboard, click "Add Product" and select "WhatsApp"

Set Up a WhatsApp Business Phone Number

Add and verify a phone number in the Meta WhatsApp dashboard. This number will be used to send and receive messages.

Go to WhatsApp > Phone Numbers in your app dashboard
Click "Add Phone Number" and enter your business number
Verify via SMS or voice call
Submit a display name for approval (e.g., "Your Company Name")

Register the Phone Number

In the Phone Numbers section, click "Register"
Set a 6-digit two-step verification PIN
Wait for the status to change to "Connected"
Your number is now active on the Cloud API

Generate a Permanent Access Token

Create a System User in Meta Business Manager and generate a permanent token for API access.

Go to business.facebook.com > Settings > System Users
Create a new System User with Admin role
Click "Add Assets" > Apps > select your app > enable "Full Control"
Generate a token with whatsapp_business_messaging and whatsapp_business_management permissions
Set expiration to "Never" for a permanent token

Connect to Humanlike AI

Add your WhatsApp credentials to the Humanlike AI platform and start automating conversations.

Log in to your Humanlike AI dashboard
Go to Integrations > WhatsApp
Enter your Phone Number ID and Access Token
Configure your webhook URL for incoming messages
