How to enable Facebook

Follow these steps to connect your Facebook Page to the Humanlike AI platform.

Create or Connect a Facebook Page

Your Facebook Page is the foundation of the integration. It must be owned by your Meta Business account.

Go to facebook.com/pages/create if you need a new Page
Ensure the Page is connected to your Meta Business Manager
Set up your Page with business info, profile picture, and description
Make sure you have Admin access to the Page

Add Facebook Messenger to Your Meta App

Enable the Messenger product in your Meta Developer app to handle automated messaging.

Go to developers.facebook.com and select your app
Click "Add Product" and choose "Messenger"
In Messenger Settings, click "Add or Remove Pages"
Select your Facebook Page and grant messaging permissions
A Page Access Token is generated automatically

Configure Webhooks

Set up webhooks to receive real-time notifications when users send messages to your Page.

In Messenger Settings, scroll to "Webhooks"
Enter your callback URL (provided by Humanlike AI)
Enter the verify token from your Humanlike AI dashboard
Subscribe to: messages, messaging_postbacks, messaging_optins
Click "Verify and Save"

Request Permissions via App Review

Submit your app for review to send messages to users beyond test mode.

Go to App Review > Permissions and Features
Request pages_messaging for sending messages
Request pages_manage_metadata for managing page inbox
For lead ads: request leads_retrieval and pages_manage_ads
